What’s New?
Our upgraded server is designed to deliver faster, more reliable performance. The key highlights of this upgrade include:
- Cutting-Edge Hardware: We’ve transitioned to a Ryzen 7950x-based CPU paired with NVMe drives, which offer significantly better speed and reliability compared to the previous Intel E5 Xeon-based server.
- Improved Speed: Expect noticeably faster load times for your websites.
- Enhanced Uptime: The new hardware ensures greater stability and uptime for all hosting accounts.
This migration also ensures continuity by remaining within the same network and datacenter.
Important Details for Clients
We’ve made this transition as seamless as possible for you. Here are a few key points:
Server Name Changes
- Old Server Name:
da2.hosteons.com - New Server Name:
da1.hosteons.com
DNS Updates
Clients using our default nameservers (ns1.da1.hosteons.com and ns2.da1.hosteons.com) don’t need to take any action—your websites are already live on the new server. However, if you’re using Cloudflare, custom nameservers, or third-party nameservers, please update your DNS records to reflect the changes. Detailed instructions have been sent via email.
Temporary Access to the Old Server
To ensure a smooth transition, the old server will remain accessible for the next 7 days. This gives you time to retrieve any data or verify that everything has been successfully migrated. Please refer to your email for the necessary access details.

We recommend the following steps:
- Verify that your website and data are functioning properly on the new server.
- Update your DNS records promptly to avoid any service disruptions.
- Check the old server for any data you might need before it is decommissioned.
